This colour cartridge itself appears to be working all right. The big problem is that the black cartridges are not printing properly and require individual, or combinations of, or all of the following procedures repeatedly to obtain an acceptably printed page: Printhead cleaning, printer calibration, nozzle correction and test page printing. This is not only time consuming but sucks a cartridge dry very quickly, and in the end makes it much more expensive than a pricey EOM product.

The transfer of toner to paper is horrible. To have a chance of getting an acceptably printed page one has to constantly perform one, some or all of the following procedures before a page prints properly: Printhead cleaning, printer calibration, nozzle correction, test page printing. In addition to wasting a lot of time these corrective measures also suck a cartridge dry very quickly, and in the end make it more expensive than a pricey EOM product.

Product performs well with one exception. Periodically the printer stops printing black ink. When this occurs several print head cleaning procedures need to be performed back to back after which time the printer functions properly again. This needs to be done approximately 5 times during the life of a black cartridge.

Would give it 5 stars but here's why I only gave it 3: Have only printed a few pages since installing this product and the ink and print quality so far appear to be good. The bad news: Pulled off the tin foil with the nozzle pointing upward. When reversing direction to install the cartridge into the printer, a few drops of ink dripped out of the cartridge. I was not thrilled with having to deal with two drops of black ink on my light beige carpet. OEM cartridges don't leak and neither should these.

I am a first time user and just installed this product. Initial few pages printed thus far were of good quality. Will upgrade to a five star rating when the whole cartridge has run through trouble free and after I have placed my next order. Regarding the small installation and troubleshooting info sheet in the box: A few instructional lines are written in a rather convoluted form of English. My recommendation for the supplier is to consider hiring a professional to rewrite said instructions.
