This product is terrible as it will fail within 11-13 months of light usage most likely right after the warranty period has ended. Both cables failed where the connector meets the cable and will not charge unless you bend it in weird directions or will stop charging all together. I had been a fan of prime cables products for a number of years but have noticed the quality declining rapidly over the last couple years.

I am surprised Primecables put its name behind such a bad product. I have purchased tons of products from primecables over the last 10 years which have been fantastic quality (chairs, wall mounts, speakers, cables, etc etc) but this is the extreme opposite of that i.e both the desk mount and the adapter are really bad quality. The Plate that comes with the desk mount which attached to the vesa mount or to the monitor is so thin that it actually got bent wherever the nut is tightened without using any pressure at all. That plate is the most critical piece that holds the entire monitor and it bends like cardboard. The instructions are terrible as well for the desk mount. Coming to the VESA mount kit, I cant tell you what a pain it is to install due to bad quality and terrible design. Threads of two holes were machined incorrectly which made it very hard to put the screws in and this only works well if you have a perfectly flat back to your monitor which most of Dell monitors arent as they have a curved back. Somehow I managed to put it together but its wobbly due to bad design.
