We use *a lot* of ice in our kitchen -- far more than what our refrigerator's ice maker/dispenser can produce for us. Our kitchen's freezer space can get pretty jumbled up with all the items being put in and taken out every day, so making ice in our freezer space is a risky proposition. We usually end up knocking the ice cube trays or tipping them over, so it was a real delight to discover this product from OXO Good Grips. It suits our needs perfectly. I was skeptical that the ice cube tray would be truly leakproof -- but it actually does allow me to fill it with water, smooth down the silicone cover, and stick it into the freezer in any old position without leaking. Cleverly designed, and another clear winner from OXO Good Grips! Would definitely recommend.

We have an apple orchard at our farm, so every autumn we are very busy picking and preserving our apple harvest. When we make dried apple rings, this OXO Good Grips apple corer is the perfect tool for the job. Another winner from OXO Good Grips (OGG). I purchased this because it was America's Test Kitchen's top pick for salad spinners amongst all the different models they tested. The standard OGG model of this winning product is transparent plastic. But for our family's use, I preferred the look, the heft, and the versatility of the stainless steel version better. The bowl can double as a stainless steel mixing, prepping, or serving bowl, which is brilliant. The spinner mechanism is ultra-smooth and requires very little effort. I like to give it 30 pumps to ensure all the water has been spun off; I'm always amazed that I get to 30 so quickly when I'm counting, because I feel like I've spent very little time or effort getting to that high number. Wonderful!

We already had 3 of these, and we love them so much, I ordered 4 more! The heatproof glass 9 x 13 baking dish goes seamlessly from freezer to hot oven to dishwasher. The glass quality is superb, resulting in beautiful bakeware on our table and easy cleanup in the dishwasher. (Cheaper 9 x 13 baking dishes I've used before allowed food to stick to the glass and not come clean in the dishwasher.) The translucent blue lids snap into place over the generous glass handles for stackable storage in the fridge or freezer. Our only "complaint" about this otherwise fabulous product is that the blue plastic lids can be susceptible to edge damage if not handled with care in the freezer. The plastic becomes a bit brittle when below zero degrees Celsius.
