Does catch hair well. Similar to dollar store varieties. Cup is about 1/2" deep.

Ok

Used it in my bath tub and I would say it is good at catching hair but drains the water very slow. It is so light that it's easily gets out of position. Gets dirty very fast that you need to clean it every shower or every use. I would not recommend this. The ones in the dollar store are way better.
