I am liking my new tablet / phone holder. it is very universal and holds my ipad securely in place with the clamp or the suction cup. I have to tighten the joints quite firmly to hold the ipad. It would be a good addition to this kit if there were a mounting shoe included that has a standard photo accessory screw mount. Which is a M6 x 1.25 or .25 x 20 NC thread. I manufactured a platform that attaches to my photo tripod so that the included clamp for the holder would attach. Included are photos.

I use it for Zoom yoga class. I can adjust it for when I stand and then angle it down for when I’m on the floor. Mostly metal construction. Good suction cup. Table clamp even better, opens to 1-3/4 inch. Works well with my iPad mini2. The articulations worked well with my 320 gram iPad. When I added my iPads protective case, the weigh increased to 520 grams and the articulations, understandably could hold up my device. Works great for me without the protective case.
