Contains a TYWE2S module with ESP8266. Once I got the outer housing removed, I had to desolder the live and neutral prongs to remove the rear plastic from the PCB to get access to desolder the TYWE2S module and flash Tasmota on with a USB TTL adapter. Had to use hot glue when reassembling the outer housing as it would not stay together any more, guessing it originally used glue to keep it secure as there are no clips. Bought to replace a mechanical timer and happy with the unit. Works well and easy to control and schedule using the S+ Smart app which I am already using with other devices rather than having to use the suggested Tuya Smart app. The USB charging ports are a nice extra.

It works fine for the regular socket but, the usb ports are not connected to the Tuya timer, which was the whole point of purchase.
