I was looking at similar items at Amazon and they were more expensive with less features. So when I saw this at regular price, I was very pleasantly surprised. I needed a wall plug/outlet that had at least 4 outlets (this has 6). Out of those 4 outlets, 1 or two are usually occupied by a multi-port USB charger. Most of these chargers are huge, and cover the adjacent outlet. Anyway, this solves the problem by providing at least 3 usb charging ports. 2 x USB-A and 1 x USB-C. We only charge two devices so this is already more than adequate. The 3rd USB port is just a bonus. What sets this apart from other wall outlet multipliers is the shelf. It may seem gimmicky but it is actually very useful. We set this near our dining table and the only other things plugged into it is a stand-fan (used only during the summer months) and an occasional laptop power brick. So now, we have at least 4 free outlets for smaller wattage devices. Before, we would set whatever was charging on the USB on the floor but the shelf solves that problem and there is no danger or accidentally tripping or stepping on a device being charged. There is also a light which can adjusted in brightness. The light turns on in the dark via its built-in photoreceptor. Depending on how your wall outlets are installed, the shelf can be mounted on top or at the bottom of the outlet multiplier.

I have been charging my devices on the bathroom counter, but between the USB-A charger, the USB-C charger, an electric toothbrush, and a nightlight it was a real tangle of cables. This clever device solved all the issues: two USB-A ports, once USB-C, more than enough power points, and even a built-in nightlight, which is a real plus for those mid-night trips to the bathroom. The LED nightlight comes on automatically and provides just enough light, but it can be dimmed or turned off if you don't need it. The little shelf provides a really convenient place to corral all the devices. 100% happy with this!

I like the shelf, but after having tried installing it over my receptacle, with and without a face plate, I find it a bit wobbly compared to similar products. It doesn't really sit tight against the wall, no matter how tight the screw. Perhaps a foam or rubber gasket might help?

I should have purchased more because it is very useful. I don’t need a separate phone charger for my phone and it comes with night light. Wonderful device.

This gives us confidence with surge protection as well as keeping everything neat and organized. Love the light as well
