Solid bar - bit hard to finagle where I want it but once there, I don't need to move it. Fits my Surface Pro8 great so I can hold my meetings without my laptop being propped on a cardboard box (have separate monitors and keyboard for during the meetings - I just needed something to hold the tablet still).

Works great, even with a Nintendo Switch. Has not snapped like metal core holders like these tend to do after some regular use, and the loops make managing the clamps very easy when putting or removing a device. Will buy more.

Use it every day. Very convenient that I don't have to hold my phone while I use it.

Good for what I need it for which is to hold my phone up in bed and my kobo ereader. The bottom isn't as sturdy so I think it would definitely have troubles with an ipad pro ( i have yet to try ) but it can hold a ipad mini just fine at the right angle.The clamp is fully plastic and the only way to tighten it is by spinning the grip above the clamp which is also plastic

This is my second purchased, after using several times, when I opened the holder to place my iPad, a plastic part that fixed a spring inside the holder seems to have broken..
