I felt like a kid again banging these shelves together. Cute little mallet and even gloves come with it. Extra parts too, I guess would be handy if you made a mistake and anything broke taking it apart.

The dark wood looks good and the shelves are as promised. Only 2 issues: the plastic connectors are an unfortunate shade of brown, and the instructions are not clear. Put the connectors on one way, and the uprights are 1/8" too long. the other way they fit. Why not make it work either way? However we do like the finished assembled unit.
