Tried this whole vacuum sealing system with the electric vacuum, bags, and containers to store a big ol' block of cheese! The bags were great for storing the block of cheese and keeping it fresh while still being able to open the bag, access the cheese, and reseal it over and over again. The hard containers came in really nicely when it came to storing the cheese in shredded form; using the bags there would've squeezed the shredded cheese into a big clump!

I bought these because a canister that came with my Black & Decker VS200 cracked. The quality is much higher (stronger and thicker) than my Black and Decker ones. Shipping was fast and as far as price, similar products elsewhere are much more expensive. One problem that I have is that the opening in the silicone seal on the cup of my Black & Decker hose is 21mm,, but the valve on the container is 25mm. This is my fault for not asking about the dimensions. I can sort of make it work by reversing the silicone seal on the hose cup. I've also found an inexpensive hose with a wider cup that I might buy. I also tried replacing the valve with the one from the Black and Decker and it's not ideal, but it works. I'll probably buy a new hose.
