2.5mm Stereo Plug to 3.5mm Stereo Jack Adapter, Gold Plated

To connect cables together in order to extend their length

Do you have a device with a 3.5mm plug that won't fit into your other device with a 2.5mm jack, such as a pair of standard headphones and a new smartphone? If so, you need this adapter from PrimeCables!

This adapter has a stereo 3.5 mm female TRS jack and a stereo 2.5 mm male TRS plug. The connectors are gold plated to ensure a smooth, corrosion-free connection.

RG6 Quad Shield is great for Hi-Impact Acoustics, antennas, cable television, and satellite installations. The durable 18 AWG copper-clad steel-center conductor is surrounded by a foam polyethylene dielectric with two active shield layers of mylar foil providing 99-100% coverage and two layers of aluminum braid shielding with 95% coverage. Sweep testing ensures 3.0 GHz performance at applicable frequencies.

Features

75 ohm impedance
18 AWG solid 0.040" copper-clad steel center conductor
Two layers of mylar foil shielding with 99-100% coverage
Two layers of aluminum braid shielding with 95% coverage
CM/CL2 rated

Important: Although this adapter will physically connect a headset to a smartphone headset/microphone jack, this will not allow use of the microphone. This adapter has TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) connectors with three contact points, while a headphone/mic device requires TRRS (Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleeve) connectors with four contact points.
