They look good, they have a soft textured surface. They are regular sized not over sized. They have an up position, and work best in the correct position.

Standard wall plate for keystones. I have some from here and some from monoprice, which are the same thing and which I got years ago. They have held up well, though I have one that is in my kitchen that has yellowed a bit over a course of about 8 years or so, though others have held up better - so I suspect that it may be a bit of ultraviolet deterioration from the natural light the plate gets in the kitchen.
