Microphone Stand with Dual 360° Rotating Mic Clip & Foldable Tripod - PrimeCables®
Avoid this stand 100%. This item should be pulled from primecables inventory and sent to a liquidator. The mechanism that holds the boom and adjusts the angle will fall apart after you tighten it a few times. Essentially it is a steel bolt encased in plastic and a recipe for disaster. Steer clear of this one, mine is in pieces now. I will send pix to primecables if they require.
I bought my first one, had it a week and went to use it for the first time. The nut stripped out of the bevel base with gentle pressure applied trying to get the mic to lock into a usable position. The boom bevel clamp assembly wouldn't clamp tight enough on the boom to hold the weight of the microphone and cord. I emailed and explained what was going on, sent pictures, and was sent a second one. I set it up, but it too would not hold the weight of the mic and cord, so I was hesitant to apply any pressure lest it break as the first did. I tried to glue things back together with the pieces of the first one, having made some modifications I thought would hold the boom better, but nothing holds it at the right place. Nevertheless, the second assembly has also broken with minimal pressure applied. I do not recommend this product due to the flimsy, lightweight design of the bevel assembly. I now have two non-boom microphone stands, and useless boom pieces I can't fix.
Great price, terrible build quality. I'd like to say that these stands are good for home studio/rehearsal use, but they're not even good enough for that. I bought 2 of them and one broke the 2nd time I used it. The angle adjustment is made of plastic and one of them broke with very little pressure when tightening. The 2nd stand is still good but probably only cuz I stopped using them after the 1st one broke... It's just sitting in a corner. Nice try at putting together a cost effective product but cheaper out on materials on the wrong part. Change that part to steel and charge a little more and it'll be a great product.
