I bought this projector mount based on two things : price and comments. I have not bought my projector yet but needed the support before finishing the ceiling in my basement (needed to fit things like cable drops around the mount) I am hoping (and confident) this will fit the projector I am looking at : Epson 2045. The price for the Epson support is around 200$, there was no way I would pay such a high price. Otherwise, the build on this mount is fine. I don't know if I can update my review after the final installation, if so, I will.

Solid mount. Holds my 25 pounds Epson HC4000 securely to the ceiling. I messed up a step and cross threaded one of the mounting arms but I still managed to tighten it down so it doesn't have me too worried. My kit didn't come with the 4x big "C" washers so I used the middle sized ones. One thing I wish was done better would of been the adjustment of the locking arm. It barely holds everything in place. I could actually take it out of adjustment by tugging on the power cord.

universal design and Easy installation.

Great mount, was fairly simple to mount in unfinished basement and is truely universal mount. Was able to mount projector that has screws 16 inch apart
