the ink bleeds out all over the printed documents. constantly have to replace it before it is empty

It's the law of probabilities: every so often a remanufacterd cartridge will be defective. This one was it for me. Not the first time, and probably will not be the last time either. Printed papers looked horriblle, with black streaks and spots all over. The vendor has a great return policy, and I am able to return it and go OEM this time.
