Just a follow up. Have been using the CCA CAT5e / CAT6 cable for the past two years and what I would recommend is to limit your runs to about 175 feet or less. if you plan to run 200 feet or more - use copper wire. Great for cost effective residential and small commercial. Have noticed different PoE access point devices on runs greater than 230 feet - may seldom drop out but others will work fine. Comparing ookla 1 gigabit speeds test on telus fiber - on differnet days can vary from 847 to 917 Mbps and tested two months later - same. Non-Poe devices ( internet only ) - no drop outs no issues. Poe, CVI, TVI cameras - no issues.

The Cat5e cable is good. But the delivery is poor. There was no packing to ship the original package. So the original package is damaged. Terrible shipping method and handling. You can see that in the attached photo.

Upon arrival, packing tape all the box handles to prevent boxes from falling apart. Have ordered for a bit and also realized the boxes WILL TANGLE regardless - have not had one box pull free to the end. Otherwise, so far so good - have not had any signal drop outs and kept all the runs to about 200 feet. Don't know if having CCA cables are good or bad in the long term - just do your research, testing at home or a job site which would be easy to fix later on ??

The boxes fell apart as soon as I picked them up from the handle. After that I had to be careful with how I moved them so the cable wouldn't unravel improperly. The cable itself was great.
