The metal punch-down end tip was not secured in the yellow plastic housing, it fell right out on first use.

Pretty cheap things. FYI - these come included with all the patch panels so if you're buying a patch panel you don't need to buy these.

Don't waste your money on these. They're made of very cheap hard plastic/rubber. Once pushed, they don't bounce back and its very rigid. It was a mistake buying them.

These cat6 plugs suck. Installing cable into them is fine, but when you go to plug them into any jack, they basically can't hold themselves and they can be pulled out easily. The grip it has is as if the clip is broken off. I would not buy these again! I tested in various rj45 ports and found the same result that in most ports they slip out easily.

The tester is faulty, the red light just blinks even when I test it on a store bought cat5e or cat6 cable.
