In the past, it has taken me weeks to germinate pepper seeds as my home is always so cold. I tried this mat and my seeds germinated in 6 to 12 days. It has allowed me to get my plants started early this year, a real game changer! I will be using it for my tomato seeds next month and yearly from now on!

Amazing! I did a test of 45 seeds when it was still a bit cold at night. 15 seeds each 3 different ways, all outdoors. In a raised bed, in tray without heat mat, tray with heat mat. 4 seeds germinated in the raised bed, 3 germinated in tray without heat mat, all 15 germinated in tray with heat mat. The ones on the heat mat came out way sooner and were significantly larger by the end of the experiment. The results were much more drastic than I had expected. Highly recommended.
