You get what you pay for here... this is the cheapest converter I could find, and truthfully, it shows. The quality overall is decent, but the mechanism have one big flaw : whenever lowering, it snaps back to the lowest position very strongly. Given the profile of the desk, this means one could easily get their finger pinched between the tabletop and handles. Either make the handles protruding out of the desk or make it so it doesn't snap back to the lowest position whenever you lower it (at least mine does). There is about 1,5 mm of clearance once at the lowest position, meaning it will crush anything that might get under it unless you're super careful - I don't have much clearance on either side, and it nearly crushed my phone twice. I get the slim profile idea, and I got it because I have a keyboard tray built-in my desk, but you should 100% spend an extra 100 bucks and get the one with the X mechanisms on both sides, *not* crossing in the middle. This makes cable management very hard as well. Will return the product and get a better version.

The desk is 5/5 stars. It is very well built, sturdy and operates smoothly. The price is also much better than a local office supply store. Unfortunately, customer service was 1/5 stars for this case. I ordered this in Oct 2020 with a promised delivery time of 5-7 days. I eventually received it about 2 months late! I understand that delays can happen but I should have been informed that it would be late! Also, the shipping box was in very poor condition.
