mist is very fine, does not wet the surrounding which is good. the noise is faint but it's there, so may annoy light sleepers

working good so far but a little bit of noise

this one is better than the old style. the only thing i don't like is there is no handle to open it to add some water.

It's not exactly "whisper quiet", but can be running in the bedroom without affecting sleep. It's a nice hum. One small bug (not sure if it's just this model or all diffusers, this is the first one I've touched) is that when taking the lid off (to pour more water or to add oil) some drops are falling from the lid to the furniture - there doesn't seem to be any way to prevent that.
