This mask was great the first time so I ordered again for some friends. They didn't like them as they were too tight. I tried one myself and found the same thing. For some reason, in this order the masks were tighter fitting. The average male head is 22.5" (57.15 cm). If your head measures this circumference or more across the bridge of your nose, the mask will probably be too tight. This is also when adjusted to the maximum size - having the velcro attached at just the tips with only 1/4" (0.64 cm) overlapping. The mask comes with one elastic on each side, not two (as in one of the pictures). The elastics are 3/4" (1.9 cm) wide, 6.5" (16.51 cm) long and have 4" (10.16 cm) of velcro at each end. The mask itself is about 9" (22.86 cm) wide, with the elastics attached at about 1/4" (0.64 cm) from each end's edge.

The product: - I have had many sleep masks in the past. This one is by far the best at keeping light out. If you open your eyes and face a bright light, there is minor light bleeding through and leaking in around the edges, but that is very minor and with eyes closed (after all, you are trying to sleep) there is no hint of light. It is very soft and comfortable on the face (but read on). The ad is misleading in that it shows two straps which would be nice as you could avoid straps going over your ears. Unfortunately there is just one strap and that one with its Velcro fastener is too tight when fastened for the largest fit. The strap is quite wide, about 2cm, but that does not help when it is so tight. (I don't think my head is abnormally big.) It is uncomfortable, but does not keep me from sleeping. The Velcro can briefly catch on bedding. It's a great price, I ordered three and even with a delivery charge they cost less than the poorer quality ones I have had in the past. Delivery: - A 3-5 business day delivery time was advertised. I ordered it around noon on a Wednesday before a holiday Monday. Delivery people were notified Wednesday night. At first they said delivery in Nova Scotia would be that Friday but after being picked up on Thursday they said Tuesday - still pretty good. It actually arrived earlier - that Saturday, mid day. This was ordered from the Living section of Shopper+. A few minutes earlier I had ordered ink cartridges fro the 123ink section. They were smart enough to combine the orders in one package. When I asked if I would be paying two delivery charges, they promptly subtracted one of them. Packing: - Not as bad as some Amazon stories, but the ink cartridges and sleep masks were rattling around in a box at least 30x30x10 cm. There was one piece of bubble wrap - three bubbles the size of hot dogs - which did not keep things tight. This is no problem for the the sleep masks, but we will check carefully to make sure the ink cartridges function OK. I have now made a few orders from Shopper+ from all three of their component stores. The quality has always been good and the delivery prompt. I will continue to use their service.
