5000mAh Power Bank Battery Charger Type-C USB A Dual Output - PrimeCables®
The powerbank itself is nice, light and thin. It's also nice that it has a Type-C port, however I don't know why they supply this powerbank with a microusb cable ...
It looks like it has a very life span.
sometimes it really over heats. mostly charges about 60% of my Samsung.
Nice and slim, some high speed charging devices make it emit a low "buzz" sound,
It is a little hard to put the cable in from another device: very tight, but doable. Sometimes when the battery is charging a device, the battery gets very hot. I don't feel comfortable leaving it to recharge without checking on it.
It's not a very efficient power bank, but it does spit out quality power to charge your devices. You will get one FULL speed phone charge out of it for sure, just don't assume you'll get more then maybe 50% charge the second time. There are plenty of other brands that advertise 90+ percent conversion efficiency, if you are only going to carry one power bank you might want to look into those. I picked this up on sale so I'm not going to bother returning it. But if I had paid full retail to get dollar store level conversion efficiencies I would be sending it back. Build quality is very nice, so is the size/form factor which is what is saving it. My best discharge test was only 65% (3250mAh into my "phone"), pulling fast charge currents I saw as low as 2600mAh out. Every power bank recharge was between 4700-4900mAh so PrimeCables isn't lying about the capacity. But whatever chips they are using or whoever designed the circuit didn't do a good job of keeping down conversion losses. Either charging or discharging it never got hot, barely warm. It does pass through charging, but the device doesn't get input voltage or voltage compensation. I'm not actually sure what it's doing, but it will be a slow charge (only spits out 4.65v) while using pass through (which is fine for me since I only bother with pass through if I'm overnight at a hotel or friends place).
