Hello Alice, We're truly sorry for that inconvenience. It shows that an agent has already assisted you with this item in your order. Please note that, for this stapler, one much push the stack of papers completely to the back of the slot, as only swiping the papers in the slot won't be enough. If you push the stack of paper at the end of the slot of this stapler, it should properly staple the stack. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team!
