What other reviewers don't mention is that the casing around the USB-C side of the adapter is thicker than the Apple version of this adapter so this Prime Cables one may not fit into devices with cases (whereas the Apple version of the adapter is slim enough to use with cases). Since this item costs the same as the Apple adapter, and the usability is diminished by the thicker casing, I would rather purchase the Apple USB C headphone adapter.

Not sure if it's the cable or my new Galaxy S21, but at times the cable disconnects from the phone when I'm on a walk, pausing whatever I was listening to. Otherwise does what you'd expect.

broke off after 1month, was ok

Worked, well. Sleeve around the 3.5" jack pulled back.
