Purchased 4 of these on sale. Review 2/4: This unit is the most stable of the 4 I purchased. So far, if I only stream or playback max 1080p resolution video on this unit, it is usually stable. These units are advertised as playing back 4K and 265 codec video. None of the 4 I purchased can do either. I am not surprised seeing as they only have 1 GB total RAM. Regardless, IMO, this is false advertisement. Were it not for what they can do, I would judge them more critically for what they can't.

Great small box. Previously I used Linux based computer for similar functions. This is so much easier. I would give 4.5, as at one point youtube plugin stopped working. Reset to factory defaults fixed it

The good: Great price, lots of inputs, the digital clock at the front is great and I love that when you turn off the box the clock also turns off as this is installed in our bedroom and I don't want a bright clock shinning on us through out the night. It was easy to set up and it came with everything you needed including an hdmi cable. They also made it very easy for you to be able to download and install your own APK's. The bad: The android box is a bit slow in responding to commands from the remote control when you open/close/or interact with an app, but I can live with that. The annoying part is that the android OS installed on it seems to be optimized for a tablet instead of a streaming box, that means that when you install any apps from the google play store the apps aren't optimized to work with the included remote and you can't fully operate the apps unless you attach a wireless mouse to the box. It does come with a "no-name" app store installed that have apps that seem to be better optimized for use with the remote control, however, the apps from this app store continuously crash, the YouTube app crashed on me every single time I tried to use it. Overall, if you're ok with attaching a wireless mouse to it, and you're ok with slower response times this is a decent box to get.

Very decent media player for the price, works for all my use cases.
