Obviously the price is lower than buying the specific brand insert but with a 10,000 page yield we didn't even print a full 2000 pages and it started running out of ink. The customer service team kept demanding a print out of the proof off the computer but of course the printers don't do that unless you have the proper company brand. Overall super unhappy with the improper yield and customer service.

The printer identifies this as "a counterfeit or non-canon cartridge". It still prints, but the quality isn't quite the same. Greys are darker and the type is less crisp (swelling perhaps). It is okay for bulk printing but not as good if quality is your goal. I also doesn't show the ink levels "Amount in the cartride cannot be displayed correctly".
