The gooseneck stand is a bit too stiff so it's not very all that useable in most situations

It's hard and not flexible.

The neck on the one I received was a bit stiff and the base was a bit loose. But a great price for a holder that comes with an attachment base.

it has to be very securely tightened because the ipad section holder back attachment to the gooseneck is plastic & the threads do not hold. When 1st mounted with my Ipad, it fell off. Luckily I caught it before my Ipad was damaged. I then remounted it making sure the bolt was as tight as I could make it, it seems to be holding but this bolt should be metal, not plastic. When not mounted on the gooseneck, the bolt & it's male counter part slides easily off/on in spite of threads. It is something I don't have a lot of confidence in at this point.
