I initially thought the device was malfunctioning when I plugged it into my work laptop with the goal to connect an HDMI cable into the hub and extend my display to include my monitor. It didn't work. But I tried the same process with my personal computer and it did work! Turns out not all USB-C ports are created equal and my work laptop has not enabled video out functionality via USB-C. Be sure to check the hub out on different computers / USB-C ports before concluding this hub might be defective. Happy with the product overall! Light weight and works plug and play, so it's simple to use.

I was pleased when I received my USB-C docking station. Instead of plugging the mouse, the keyboard, my USB headset, and my monitor on my dell work laptop I simply plug in the power cable and this USB-C. The finish is nice and it is working as well with my samsung phone with samsung DeX. I wish they had included an ethernet port as well.
