I attached a pair of these to my skis. They seem to be holding well, but I am weary how long they will last. Under the velcro is a thin foam padding which is exposed to the elements. With time snow will weaken the white foam padding and disintegrate it? Will see the condition after this ski season to see if it survives.

Seems sturdy and good, but still not sure if super useful

Good for wider skis (probably downhill skis), not so much cross country skis.
