I bought this Aerator to replace my very old and cheaply made Aerator. First, let me say that this one is beautifully made steel construction, and swivels nice and smoothly, BUT is doesn't swivel 45 degrees as described on the page. You're lucky to get more than 15 degrees of swivel action.... but that's not a deal breaker. What IS the deal breaker on this (to me) is that it doesn't Aerate the water very much, so it's a fairly strong stream coming out of it and whether washing your hands or dishes or whatever, water is splashing everywhere. This is the whole reason we use Aerators in the first place; so you get a nice smooth flow of water without all the water splashing around. The other thing is the NOISE. I can't believe the amount of noise that the water makes going thru this Aerator. Doesn't matter if you have the water on low medium or high, it's a LOT LOUDER than any other faucet I've ever used before. Now these problems may not be a big deal to some, or maybe even most people, but to me it's bad enough that I had to take it off and put my old piece of junk Aerator back on until I can find a nicer swivel Aerator. HTH :)
