Pretty solid quality on these litter boxes. My cats tend to use the upper opening, but aren't very bright Nd don't use the swinging door. Like how you can slide out the bin, but sometimes needs a whack to get it to go back in flush. Overall I would purchase these again!

i have done research and this is the best litterbox of this kind...very sturdy. but --1 for assembly... the assembling took effort. need force to put in walls, and the top, i had to use a hammer. once the top is installed, it cannot be removed so litterbox can only be cleaned by bottom tray, i had wish top can be removed but oh well. swinging door needs to be put on highest notch or it will only be one-way door.

We have a large tall male cat. He pees against the back wall. As the tray is very shallow, litter is building up on the walls and the cats mound litter against and over the top of tray. We will need to take the entire box into the shower when changing out the litter. Concept of a tray looked good but not deep enough or suitable for our cats.
