Apparently the two HDMI ports can only display the same signal from a Macbook. (i.e. cannot use dual monitors in clamshell mode without using HDMI port on the laptop itself) This information is not in the listing, but is in the small manual which is included in the box. Disappointing because that is the function I was looking for.

According to support, after purchase, "the supplier is not certain whether the item is compatible with the latest Mac OS update." I don't even have the "latest Mac OS", just the latest version of the 2nd latest Mac OS, so the generic supplier statement, placing blame on Apple's Mac OS update, doesn't really make sense. When used with an Apple device, it shows only 1 of the two displays in Settings and mirrors it to the 2nd "invisible" display. While the company offered a return and refund, be warned that it does not work on Apple devices.

Network is not working on my MacBook Pro 2018 with the latest OSX. Lights are flashing thou, but nothing is detected in OSX. I didn't try any display ports for now and I won't since the network doesn't seems compatible...

All USB ports failed after 7 months of use and no warranty . I do not recommend this product.
