TL;DR - Don’t buy. Lightning tip snapped off within 2 days and lodged itself inside my 8 year olds iPad. Appears to be made of cheap plastic vs metal underneath the rubber jacket where the wires connect to the lightning tip. I’ve been an avid buyer from PrimeCables for years and typically recommend their products to anyone I talk to. In this case cheaping out on a cable almost resulted in the repair of a $450 iPad. Daughter isn’t any rougher on her things than any other 8 year old, and she’s never broken an OEM or 3rd party cable in this way in the past. Plastic is easily bendable with my thumb nail now that it’s exposed. Could be fine for adult use, but I’d tread lightly.
