It heats up fast. I like the controls, easy to use. The only negative is the tea basket which I find difficult to open and close and likely will not last long. When the basket is raised it slowly goes back down. You can't really remove it when it's hot. I suppose I can use a t-ball after the basket breaks. Other than that it's well priced and nice to use tea maker.
