    The charging port is USB type-c (f) and the only connector that can get into the port is the extension that comes with the product which ends in another USB type-c (m). I have tried many cables. If you do not have a laptop, desktop, power converter, or any other source of power with a USB type-c (f) port you should add to your purchase a USB type-c (f) converter to USB A (m) or some other option. Many are available right here.

            The cable on the side works good... the USB-C to plug the phone into that sticks out of the top of the power bank is finicky and didn't stay connected to charge my phone...
