I bought 2 twin beds for my cottage. These are very sturdy for adults, have lots of storage space underneath, and are a simple utilitarian design. They will last for many years. The metal "slats" are close enough together that a box spring isn't needed with a standard 8" thick (foam) mattress for this part-time use. For full time use a more rigid mattress would likely be better.

Honestly, for the price was I was not expecting such high quality. This bed frame is quite sturdy and I think it is attractive. I love that it has both a headboard and footboard. I purchased this to use in the spare room and it is just perfect.

It is sturdier than expected. Very serviceable.
