Unfortunately this does not work for an Epson XP-4200 series using firmware from 2024 or newer. Have tried several different firmware versions but have been unable to roll back to one prior to 2024 after updating it accidentally. Guess this is why the off-brand ink is half the price of the name-brand stuff :( Giving 2 stars because this isn't entirely the fault of the ink, but feel the need to write the review anyways because I wouldn't have taken the gamble on the purchase if I had seen something similar. It always says "Ink Cartridge is not installed correctly". The other (name brand) ones show a check when they snap in but this does not.
