Reality: The moment I clipped it on, my laptop leaned back like Fat Joe in Lean Back. It’s simply too heavy for slim screens, and the clamp feels a bit aggressive for modern lightweight laptops. Listing says: Three-hundred-sixty degree adjustable ball head. Reality: Only until the giant tightening screw runs into the base like a tiny traffic accident. The screw literally blocks some angles, so the “three-hundred-sixty” part is more inspirational than functional. Listing says: USB-powered and widely compatible. Reality: True, but it’s USB-A, and many newer laptops (especially MacBooks) have ditched those ports. You’ll need an adapter, and you’ll need one spare port, both of which many laptops don’t have anymore. Listing says: Great for desks, PCs, laptops, and “anywhere you desire.” Reality: It probably shines on a sturdy desktop setup, but on a laptop it’s more trouble than it’s worth. The light quality itself is great, but the physical design makes it a clunky choice for laptop users. Works best if you're not trying to clip it onto a thin screen, or if your laptop is built like a brick.
