**Disappointing quality — worked well at first, but became unusable** I purchased the Brother TN229XXL compatible toner cartridge combo (BK/C/M/Y) from Moustache as a lower-cost alternative to genuine Brother toner. Initially, the cartridges worked well and the print quality was acceptable. However, after some use, the colour consistency became a major problem. The colours are no longer accurate, and printed documents have noticeable colour variations that make professional documents look poor. For someone printing court documents and business paperwork, this inconsistent output is unacceptable. Black text and official documents should look clean and professional, but these cartridges have caused issues with colour tones appearing where they should not. To make matters worse, I purchased an additional full set of these cartridges in advance, which are now unlikely to be used because I cannot rely on the print quality.

The cartridge cannot fit into my brother printer as it has some parts missing on one end which make it impossible to install into the printer. I tried to remove that set of clips from my old brother cartridge and install it in the new cartridge. It doesn’t work so the new moustache cartridge is a total waste. I got the cartridge in April as a reserve and only find out that part is missing. New buyer should check immediately if the set of clips is missing.
