tips over with the weight of the phone unless you place your phone sideways

Wobbly. So wobbly. It looks great, the material feels solid, it hold phones and tablets snugly, rotates easily, and has a number of adjustable positions. But actually using a device in this stand is an annoying experience. I have to hold the device steady with one hand when interacting with it, because it wobbles. A lot. The base is stable. The design flaw seems to be the circular rotation part, where the rest of the stand connects to the base. In order to allow 360 rotation, the upper stand part cannot be connected to the base too tightly. But the problem is that it's slightly too loose, so it wobbles. The stand might be useful when just used for watching videos or displaying information...anything that doesn't involve interacting with the device. That's not why I bought it, so the stand is a major disappointment, at least for me.
