Strong recommendation on the OXO Rapid Brewer. It’s crazy to find something so efficient after years of seeing people spend thousands on espresso machines and gear to achieve lesser results. Nice bonus: Seems to perform noticeably well on old freezer stash beans 😮‍💨

Haven't used it too much yet - just a couple of times. Initial impressions are really good - made good coffee on the first try, and I probably have my grind way off. It feels sturdy, well made, and everything packs down to around the same size as an Aeropress. It's slightly harder to clean than an Aeropress, so maybe not as good for camping, but it's definitely better for around the house.

Used it a few times. Takes some tinkering to get weight of coffee, grind coarseness / finess to get a coffee you like. The built in filter is OK but cost of needing a new filter may have to get a new component rather than just a filter. The clean up is the worst part of using this brewer. You have to get newpaper to dump the grounds out, then a brush to get the remaining wet grinds out of the component. In summary, the AERO PRESS is better in every way, especially in clean up.

Excellent quality product. Well thought out, with attention to small details, as are essentially all of OXO products.
