Originally thought it was a bad mount or cannot handle heavy monitors but found that the tention screw was not a normal "clockwise tight, counter clockwise loose" but it was the opposite where counter clockwise was tighten. For anyone purchasing this just lookout for that.

This arm is of lower quality that the last arm I bought from ShopperPlus, especially the head that attaches to the monitor. When I try to tilt it up and down, no matter how much I adjust the tension on the arm, it feels like I'm going to either snap it off the back of the monitor or I'm going to break the mount off of the arm. I would not buy this again.

It's not metal or anything but it's exactly What you pay for. It works with my 32 inch curved monitor which is pretty heavy.
