I needed to find a mount that could allow the tv at the right height and still use the fireplace. Best option out there I could find and it was affordable compared to $500+ models. My only quibble is that I wish it could get closer to the wall when it’s extended but that’s really minor. Instructions were pretty good, I was able to do most of it alone and I was able to tidy up the cables a bit so everything moves properly. Happily they also had a universal mounting bracket for the soundbar.

Great quality product. The only downside is the pull down handle which could have been finished better. But performance is great.

I like the Fireplace pull down wall mount. It has only been in use a few days but seems to work good. When in the up position the Tv is tilted down more than I like but I don't see a way to adjust it to vertical. When in the lower position it is vertical just as I like it to be. Keith N.

For the price it's hard to beat this mount, especially with a Plus Membership. I couldn't find any pull down mounts anywhere else that were anywhere near this inexpensive, so I took a risk and bought it! Overall, it's quite a nice mount with only some very minor drawbacks. First, the mounting holes on the wall bracket don't have any holes that fit standard 16" off centre studs without having to put the bracket slightly to the side and then compensate for that by attaching the TV slightly to the other side so the TV remains centered even though the bracket on the wall is about 1" off center. It would be nice if I could properly center the bracket too. Secondly, on our 65" TV, the bracket is big enough still that the base hangs out slightly below the bottom of the TV. The base does have plastic trim pieces that snap on so it doesn't look TOO bad, but I still wish it was more invisible behind the TV and didn't have to overhang the bottom by approximately 2". Guess I just need a bigger TV? ;) Other than those very small qualms, this is otherwise an extremely well built bracket - you won't match it for this price.

Built well and has lots of swing to get by our very deep mantle

When it is up it leans one way, when it is down it leans the opposite way. So can't really get it straight. But the price is good and you don't notice it after a while.
