The 1800W Portable Digital Induction Cooktop Countertop Burner, Push Button Controller - LIVINGbasics™ - Well Made and Works Well. _Although the instructions are seriously lacking, and each time i;e used it, I have to figue it out again & again, it is however, (a) Figure-outtable & (b) A very Decent & Well Working Induction Stove-top element.. It has a number of features including LOCK for Safety and a Timer too - also fast Water Boiling One-Touch Setting & more. I O have another model from another company - Both work as required, Induction stove-tops don;t leave non stop heat soaking into a summer-hot resident and they are safer that all other types of elements with which to cook, In fact so much so, that Fancy Restaurants in Old Montreal use them because HEALTH & SAFETY issues, including keeping restaurants in Archaic & Fire-Prone Historical Buildings safe from Fire.Other then the practically complete lack of Instructions, except for Safety Instructions, I would have otherwise rated this a FULL 5 on 5

i am impressed by the power and 'quickness' of this thing. boils water in less than a minute ...

First one arrived with major cracks with lots of shattered little shards of glass everywhere, even got a splinter because I didn't notice it right away. Only when the shards fell through the package holes in the bag did I notice. I never got to use the product, as it was never opened, and immediately returned. Replacement works fine so far after a couple of months, having been used a handful of times. I use it outdoors when the weather is nice to cook steaks in a carbon steel pan and to avoid the grease/smoke in the house. Pots/Pans get real hot real fast, I only need to use 1200-1400 W setting to get a great sear on my steaks.

good

Used this item and loved on the first use. The fact that I can pause cooking and resume is 🤨 . I rated it a 4 star right now NOT because it did not work great, but because I am yet to test it for longevity and durability. I will update this review when the conviction of durability is proved.

The fan is really loud. I had no problem understanding the instructions. The unit heats up quickly so perfect for hotpot.
