I bought another version of this almost exactly 4 years ago. That one had the ribs/spike and was used by my wife on her work area. It started to have cracks along the leading edge, so it was beginning to annoy her. I have one under my desk (in the same room) that did not have the spikes. That one is even older at about 7 years old. So instead of repurchasing the ribbed version, I got the flat version for her this time. Quality is still good and if it lasts as long as the previous one, then it's all good. For comparison, she works from home 95% of the time, so she spends a lot of time on her computer. I only sit in our home office to game. So that could account for the difference in wear and tear between the two chair mats.

Une fois commandé je l'ai reçue rapidement. Une fois le tapis sorti de la boîte .Il faut de l'huile de coude pour le déplier. J'ai mis des objets lourds autour du tapis pour qu'il redevienne plat. Sa pris quelques jours et je l'avais installer tout près d'une source de chaleur pour qu'il prenne forme plus rapidement. Il protège mon plancher des égratignures des roues de la chaise. Je suis contente de mon achat.
